Cozumel Reef Map

The reefs of Cozumel are an outstanding part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System (MBRS). With over 120 square kilometers (46 square miles) of pristine reefs, the Arrecifes de Cozumel Marine Natural Preserve is located along the West coast of Cozumel and encompasses the largest collection of dive sites within the Mexican Caribbean. Cozumel offers numerous reefs with unparalleled biodiversity. Shallows, deeps, walls, pinnacles, pass-throughs, you name it! The reefs of Cozumel have something for everyone. The constant northbound current that exists year-round along the Yucatan channel makes every dive in Cozumel a relaxed, drift dive. Go with the flow and glide over the reefs!
